If you get your eyebrows wet after a microblading session, it can negatively affect the treatment and your skin in the following ways:

So, when it comes to the question of “When can I wash my eyebrows after microblading?” the short answer is at least ten days, but it’s really as long as it takes for your eyebrows to cleanse and heal themselves naturally. You can use a VERY light touch of soft antibacterial soap on your eyebrows after microblading to help the scabs and skin stay clean while it heals, but water will introduce problems that you don’t want! Trust us; avoiding water on your face during the shower and resisting the urge to wash your eyebrows may seem like a painful endeavor. It is a huge MYTH that without the application of ointment on the brows; the brows won’t turn out great or retain pigment properly. Application of ointment is not necessary after getting semi permanent brows done.
Skin type varies so each individual skin will definitely choose how best to retain pigment and how to heal.
However, an ointment can only be applied depending on the weather condition and also depending on the skin type.
If the weather is harsh(harmattan).. a thin layer of ointment MIGHT be applied (not a must) just to help the scabs during healing ; look more presentable.
If an individual has a really oily skin… there’s no point applying ointment as the excess oil the skin produces can serve as ointment and help keep the area a bit moist.
If the an individual with extremely oily skin applies ointment on her healing brows(the dampness can slow down the healing process).
